Most auto glass shops are set up for one car at a time and treat commercial work as an occasional extra. FleetFix runs the other way around. The scheduling, the billing and the van stock are all organized for operators: fleets, contractors, haulers and trades. What we actually do

Windshields are the bulk of it: replacements and chip repairs on everything from a Civic to a Peterbilt. Beyond that we handle door and quarter glass, back glass including heated and sliding rear windows, RV and motorhome windshields, and cab glass on excavators, loaders, skid steers and backhoes. If a vehicle has glass in it and it is broken, it is in scope.

Where a vehicle has a forward-facing camera mounted to the windshield, which now covers most vehicles built in the last several years, the camera has to be recalibrated after the glass is replaced. We handle that as part of the job instead of sending you somewhere else to finish it.

Colorado is hard on glass

There is a reason windshield work is steady year-round here. Front Range hail season runs through late spring and summer and regularly produces stones large enough to break laminated glass outright. Winter brings sand and magnesium chloride onto every arterial in the state, and both are brutal on a windshield that already has a chip in it. And the daily temperature swing does the rest: a 60-degree afternoon followed by a hard overnight freeze can turn a chip the size of a pea into a crack running the width of the glass, often without anything hitting it at all.

What it costs

Glass pricing depends on the vehicle, what is bonded to the windshield and whether you are claiming. As a rough guide before you get a real quote:

• Cars and light pickups: most replacements land in the $200–$500 range, and more when there is a camera, heating element or acoustic interlayer involved.
• Work trucks and commercial vans: typically $250–$700 depending on the model and the glass specification.
• Class 7 and 8 tractors: usually $300–$1,000 or more, varying widely by make and whether the truck takes a one-piece or two-piece windshield.
• RVs and heavy equipment: quoted per job, because the glass often has to be sourced specifically for the unit.
