Privacy Policy

This policy explains what FleetFix Glass collects through this quote site, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It covers quote.fleetfixglass.com only. Our main website at fleetfixglass.com is operated separately and has its own policy.

Who we are

What we collect when you use the quote form

The quote form asks for information we need in order to price and schedule glass work. Only the first four are required. Everything after them is optional, and we will simply ask about it when we call if you leave it blank:

  • Name. So we know who we are calling.
  • Phone number. The main way we return a quote.
  • Email address. For written quotes and confirmations.
  • ZIP code. To confirm you are inside our service area and route a technician.
  • Service requested (optional). What kind of glass work you need.
  • Vehicle description (optional). Year, make and model, to identify the correct glass.
  • VIN (optional). The most reliable way to source the exact windshield for your vehicle.
  • Insurance status and carrier (optional). So we can tell you what your policy is likely to cover and bill your insurer directly if you would like us to.

Advertising and analytics information

This site exists primarily to serve Google Ads traffic, so it records information about how you arrived. When you land here from an advertisement, the URL usually carries an identifier from the advertising platform. We read these from the address bar and store them in your browser's session storage:

  • Google click identifiers: gclid, gbraid, wbraid and gclsrc.
  • Other platform click identifiers: msclkid (Microsoft), fbclid (Meta), ttclid (TikTok) and li_fat_id (LinkedIn).
  • Campaign parameters: utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term and utm_content.
  • The page you landed on and the referring website, if your browser sends one.

These are submitted with your quote request so we can tell which advertising produced a genuine inquiry. Session storage is cleared by your browser when you close the tab.

Conversion measurement and enhanced conversions

When a quote request is successfully delivered, this site reports a conversion to Google Ads. If enhanced conversions are enabled on the account, the Google tag takes the email address and phone number you entered, hashes them in your browser using SHA-256 before transmission, and sends only the hashed values. Google uses them to match the conversion to an ad click. We do not transmit your email address or phone number to Google in readable form for this purpose, and Google's handling of that data is governed by its own terms with us as the advertiser.

The site loads Google's tag (gtag.js) from googletagmanager.com. Google may set cookies through that tag. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

Call tracking

We may use a dynamic number insertion service, which shows different visitors different telephone numbers so we can tell which advertising generated a call. If that service is active, the number displayed on the page may be a tracking number that forwards to our main line. Calls to tracking numbers may be recorded or monitored for quality and training; where a call is recorded you will be told at the start of the call.

The number published as our Google Ads call asset is a fixed number and is never swapped.

What we do with your information

We use it to prepare a quote, contact you about your request, schedule and carry out the work, source the correct glass, submit and manage an insurance claim if you ask us to, keep records of work performed, honor our workmanship warranty, and measure which advertising is working. We do not use it for anything else.

Who we share it with

We are not in the business of selling personal information, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone. We share it only with:

  • Our customer management platform (HighLevel), which stores your inquiry and our correspondence with you.
  • Your insurance carrier, when you ask us to bill a claim on your behalf.
  • Glass suppliers, limited to the vehicle details needed to order the correct part.
  • Advertising and analytics providers, limited to the conversion data described above.
  • Professional advisers or authorities, where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Quote requests that do not become jobs are kept for up to two years so we can recognize you if you come back. Records of completed work are kept for as long as we may need them to honor the workmanship warranty, which for most installations means for as long as you own the vehicle, plus a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and legal purposes.

Your choices

You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Reply STOP to a text message, use the unsubscribe link in an email, or simply call and tell us. You can also ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by calling (720) 605-0727.

You can opt out of personalised Google advertising through Google My Ad Center, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not stop the quote form working.

Colorado residents

Under the Colorado Privacy Act you have the right to confirm whether we process your personal data and to access it, to correct inaccuracies, to delete it, to obtain a portable copy, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or profiling with legal or similarly significant effects. We do not sell personal data and we do not carry out that kind of profiling. To exercise any of these rights, call us on the number above. If we refuse a request you may appeal by asking us to reconsider, and if we reject the appeal you may complain to the Colorado Attorney General.

Other states

If you live in a state with comparable privacy legislation, contact us and we will honor equivalent rights rather than arguing about which statute applies.

Text messages

Submitting the form means you agree we may contact you by phone, text or email about your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply, message frequency varies, and you can stop messages at any time by replying STOP. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchasing anything from us.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. But we limit what we collect to what we actually need, which is the most effective protection available.

Children

This site is aimed at people arranging vehicle glass work and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, call us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use information already collected will be notified to affected customers directly where we hold contact details for them.
